‘winter tree on broadway‘…one of my favorite historical trees that live in the Broadway/Fountain Distirict the last week of 2016 with our snow. Almost looks like a hand-colored black & white photo. Thanks for drivin’ on by today! bb >*<
‘ice pave’…so, we are in a deep-freeze and the pavement & ice created wonderful works of art that I have decided to call‘ice pave”s.This was the best one I found today. Now.. I think I may have just coined a new phrase! Thanks for stoppin’ in today!! bb >*<
‘Sentinel & Museum’..taken on the last cold day of the old year. The Whatcom Museum of History & Artbuilding was erected in 1892 and designed in the late Victorian style by Alfred Lee, a local architect who utilized red brick & Chukanut Sandstone. The design itself was modeled almost exactly like the second Saginaw County Courthouse in Saginaw, Michigan, which was destroyed in 1971. Thanks for droppin’ by today and best to all for 2015! bb >*<
SosinT is a community-led initiative which is working towards the creation of an Energy Descent Action Plan for the town. The thinking behind TTW is simply that a town using much less energy and resources than we presently consume could, if properly planned for and designed, be more resilient, more abundant and more pleasurable than the present.
