‘granary building’...restoration, refurbishment, renewal…words all describing the beautiful fact that theGranary Building which represents a history of our community, that thrived through creating a ‘co-operative’ and successful egg industry, is on it’s way to a new life! Our cloud formation on Tuesday night was an awesome sight! It stretched left to right across the sky as far as you could see each way at sunset. The ‘big long cloud’ brought us rain the next day. This post features it from my left. Tomorrow I will post to my right and above my head. Thanks for checkin’ in! bb >*<
‘a July sunset’…early in the month I caught this awesome sunset over the bay. It’s the first in the series, as I was fortunate enough to get a lot of nice shots while it lasted…and..this month has been so busy!! Thanks for stoppin’ in today! bb >*<
‘spire at sunset’...“a tall, acutely pointed pyramidical roof, or roof-like construction, upon a tower, roof, etc.” (dictionary.com). Yep..sounds good! Shot through the window while sittin’ at a red light. Thanks for checkin’ in! bb >*<
‘Sentinel & Museum’..taken on the last cold day of the old year. The Whatcom Museum of History & Artbuilding was erected in 1892 and designed in the late Victorian style by Alfred Lee, a local architect who utilized red brick & Chukanut Sandstone. The design itself was modeled almost exactly like the second Saginaw County Courthouse in Saginaw, Michigan, which was destroyed in 1971. Thanks for droppin’ by today and best to all for 2015! bb >*<
‘Mt. Baker in Pink’…was so pretty in pale pink at sunset tonight, and she’s had some new snow fall in the last few days & is looking delicious. I zoomed in as best as my camera could & just caught the last minutes of light before & after the pink was gone..it was freezing out when I took these pics. Check out 2 more shots on my site if you are in the reader. Thanks for stoppin’ in today. bb >*<

SosinT is a community-led initiative which is working towards the creation of an Energy Descent Action Plan for the town. The thinking behind TTW is simply that a town using much less energy and resources than we presently consume could, if properly planned for and designed, be more resilient, more abundant and more pleasurable than the present.
